HOW TO USE:

Step 1

Unlock by twisting the top half of the pump anti-clockwise until it clicks.

Step 2

After cleansing in the morning and/or evening, hold a facial pad (reusable is best) firmly over Press & Clear and push down 3-4 times.

Step 3

Sweep the pad over the complexion, avoiding the delicate eye area.

Step 4

To secure, twist the pump clockwise until it clicks. For Press & Clear Refill, transfer the pump saved from your previous Press & Clear bottle onto the Press & Clear Refill. Twist clockwise until it clicks into place.

NOTE

Store out of direct sunlight. New users should apply once a day and note the skin’s response, then use up to twice daily.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE FORMULA

At Medik8, we recognise that blemish-prone skin is sensitive skin. Overloading the skin (particularly sensitive, blemish-prone skin) with high strength blemish treatments can result in an impaired skin barrier leading to damage, inflammation and further breakouts.

That's why we expertly formulated Press & Clear to deliver powerful results, while supporting the skin barrier to maintain a healthy complexion.

Many other BHA toners use low pHs, following the traditional theory that for an exfoliating acid to work, it requires a low pH to ‘activate’ within the skin. This is true for many acids, but salicylic acid is unique in that it is proven to be just as effective at exfoliating the skin at a neutral pH.

Press & Clear's neutral pH of 5.5 matches that of your skin; retaining all of the power of 2% salicylic acid while making it much more suitable for the specific needs of sensitive, blemish-prone skin types.
