BioFiller is an autologous (patient’s own biology) volume restoration procedure that uses heat stabilised plasma gel and high-platelet dose platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to form injectate. The procedure is performed by a registered healthcare practitioner.

The heated, volume-stabilised plasma albumin gel provides immediate soft tissue volumisation and structural support that typically lasts 3–6 months. Biofiller is a non-surgical procedure with a low incidence of complications when performed according to Alocuro and the treating Doctor’s recommended protocols. Common ‘side effects’ may include redness, swelling, and bruising. Because Biofiller is an autologous product (derived from the patient’s own blood), risks associated with other non-surgical procedures - such as allergic reactions, rejection, granuloma formation, or Tyndall effect - are not expected. In the rare event of a vascular occlusion, all practitioners have received training in managing this event within their BioFiller training.
