Cancellations / No Shows

We understand that life can get busy and things can come up at the last minute, however to ensure that clients don’t miss out we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice for all appointment cancellations or changes. We will send appointment reminders via email 3 days in advance and a text message 48 hours in advance of your appointment date and try our absolute best to confirm your appointment times well in advance to help you avoid any cancellation fees. No show or failure to provide us with more than 24 hours notice for an appointment change will result in a 50% of treatment cancellation fee being charged.

We ask that you please arrive promptly for your appointments. Please allow enough time for our Byron Bay traffic and parking. If you are running late, a phone call would be appreciated. Your treatment time may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid inconvenience to other clients. Cancellation fees are applicable if you miss your appointment entirely or arrive too late to progress with your appointment.

Refunds

Please be certain of the services or produts you are purchasing. Refunds cannot be offered for change of mind or if you decide you no longer which to continue with the product or service. Refunds cannot be offered if you are moving or your situation has changed. Visit the NSW Consumer Affairs website for details.

Byron Medi Spa offers you the option to:

Option 1- transfer any used monies remaining for pre-paid treatments to another treatment or product.

Option 2- you can on sell or gift your unused pre paid treatments to another person. Please email us at hello@byronmedispa.com.au so that we have a written copy of your wish to do this. Please include the full name, email and phone number of the person.

Pre-Paid Treatments

ByronMediSpa reserves the right to change any of our products and services at anytime without any prior warning or notice.

Pre-paid treatment packages must be redeemed within the following periods, after which, any unused portion will be forfeited:

  • Pre-paid Skin treatments must be redeemed within 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Pre-paid Laser treatments must be redeemed within 12 months from date of purchase.

Gift Certificates

Our Gift Certificates are valid for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase and are not redeemable after this time. They are not redeemable for cash under any circumstance, non-refundable and non-transferable to third party. Our Gift Certificates may be used on any service or product.

Privacy policy

Your privacy is important to us and we take the responsibility of handling your personal information very seriously. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act), and we recognise that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is handled.

Our Privacy Policy describes in detail how we collect, use and disclose your personal information, how you can access and correct your personal information, and how you can make privacy complaints.

By using our website, services, or by providing any personal information to us, you consent to our collection, holding, use, and disclosure of your personal information, as set out in this Privacy Policy.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, personal information includes your:

  • name and date of birth;

  • contact details and your emergency contact details;

  • treatment details;

  • before and after treatment photographs;

  • any personal information captured by CCTV (as covered by our CCTV Policy);

  • payment information such as bank accounts or credit card details;

  • payment history; and

  • sensitive information such as medical information provided by you and collected by us as part of your treatment file, details of telehealth consultations, and any allergies you may have.

We may also collect information relating to your access and use of our website including social media accounts or apps, IP address, device type, browser information, time and date of access, location data, webpages visited, and other website-related information including through the use of internet cookies.

Information which does not disclose your identity, or enable your identity to be ascertained), will not be classified as personal information and therefore will not be subject to this Privacy Policy.

November Sale Promotional Terms and Conditions: 40% Off Treatments

These Promotional Terms and Conditions apply specifically to the November Sale offer for the treatments listed below. This offer is subject to the General Terms and Conditions of Byron Medi Spa.

1. Offer Eligibility and Period

  • Offer: Clients are eligible to receive 40% Off the full, single-treatment price of the Qualifying Treatments listed in Section 2.

  • Offer Period: This promotion is valid for all Qualifying Treatments that are purchased and/or received between November 1, 2025, and November 30, 2025 (the "Sale Period").

  • Booking Requirement: Appointments must be booked and attended within the Sale Period of November to qualify for the discount.

  • Prefer to have the treatment at a later date? Simply prepay by clicking on the treatment link below. All prepaid treatments have a 12 month expiry.2. Qualifying Treatments

The 40% discount applies exclusively to the following non-prepaid, single treatments and the following prepaid packages:

3. Prepaid Treatment Policy (Future Use)

Clients have the option to prepay for future treatments at the discounted 40% rate, subject to the following strict conditions:

  • Payment Deadline: Full payment for all prepaid treatments must be received by Byron Medi Spa no later than November 30, 2025.

  • Expiry Date: All prepaid treatments purchased under this sale must be booked and used within 12 months from the date of purchase. Any unused prepaid treatments remaining after this 12-month expiry date will be forfeitedand are non-refundable.

  • Non-Transferable: Prepaid treatments are solely for the use of the client who made the purchase and cannot be transferred to another individual or gifted.

4. General Sale Conditions

  • Exclusions: This offer applies only to the treatments listed in Section 2 and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, package, or discount (unless expressly stated otherwise).

  • Suitability: If a client is deemed unsuitable for a treatment, the prepaid funds can be applied toward an alternative treatment or products, subject to the 12-month expiry rule.

  • Refunds: Refunds are not provided for change of mind or unused prepaid treatments after the 12-month expiry date. Refunds will only be issued where required by Australian Consumer Law.

  • Price Adjustment: The 40% discount is applied to the full, non-discounted single-treatment price.

  • Cancellation Policy: Our standard cancellation and no-show policy applies to all appointments booked under this promotion. Failure to provide the required notice will result in the forfeiture of a prepaid treatment or a cancellation fee.
